Hilya was the term to describe Muhammad (S.A.W.) out of this worlds beauty. The term Hilya actually means ‘ornament’. The study of Muhammad’s appearance and character are based on hadith. Hilyes were also written for the four caliphs (companions) of Muhammad (S.A.W.) Umar (R.A.) Abu Bakr (R.A.) Uthman (R.A.) Ali (R.A.). He had black eyes along with black curly hair, he had black puffy eyebrows and wore his Nailan.
